Dimensions Incorporated represents the nation's leading dental carriers and will provide you with a choice among high quality dental plans. Through our partnership with Benemax, we also offer our clients Benedent, the nation’s first Consumer Directed Dental Benefit Plan.

Through traditional dental benefit carriers, we offer the following plan designs:

Indemnity Dental Plan - the member may exercise freedom of choice and receive benefits from any dentist.

Dental Network Plan - utilizes a network of dental providers. The member must utilize network providers to receive benefits. There are no benefits available if the member utilizes non-participating providers.

Preferred Provider Plan - allows members to utilize network and non-network providers. The use of network providers will offer a higher level of benefit, while decreasing out-of-pocket expenses. The use of non-network providers may decrease benefits, while increasing out-of-pocket expenses.

Self-Funded Dental Plans - allows member to utilize any dentist, while providing employers with the ability of controlling cash flow based on actual expenses.

Benefit Options, such as deductible, reimbursement levels, and annual maximum, can be limited or enhanced, allowing employers to tailor their plans to meet their financial requirements.

Through Benemax, we can offer a Money Purchase plan (Benedent) that empowers members to manage their own dental care but rewards them for good dental hygiene and value driven consumer behavior.

For example, a typical Benedent Plan design would pay the first $200 of each member’s covered dental expenses in full; the next $1,000 might be covered at 80% followed by another $1,000 at 50%.

Members have a direct financial incentive to use dental services every year. But they also have an incentive to get needed dental work done as inexpensively as possible.

Benedent supports dental consumers by giving them on-line access to the median cost of every dental procedure in every zip code along with a list of 100,000 dentists who have been specially certified based on their practice patterns and charge profiles. Finally, our “Ask-a-Dentist” feature enables members to pose dental care questions directly to a panel of dentists on-line.
